​Olney Pancake Race

This joyous food festival has been celebrated by women of Onley, England since 1445. As per reports, women above 18 and those who have lived in the town for more than 3 months can participate in this race and have to wear a skirt, apron, cover their head, and should cook their own pancake. This unique food festival happens in Oaxaca, Mexico, where you actually don’t get to eat food. It is called Night of the Radishes and is celebrated on Dec 23 every year. For this festival, radishes are specially grown and are kept under the ground post harvest season so that they develop a strange shape and become unusually large.
