Why this homemade juice?


Made with the goodness of bitter gourd ( Karela) and Jamun (Indian Blackberry), this homemade juice can not only manage insulin levels, but at the same time can help in healing several other health concerns such as digestive ailments, skin issues, removes toxins, boosts immunity and helps in improving metabolic health.

Why is karela jamun juice good for high sugar?

Both karela and jamun are loaded with essential nutrients and plant compounds that help in reducing high sugar levels. This is because Karela contains polypeptide-p, which can fix insulin imbalance and control high blood sugar, reduce inflammation in the body, cure skin issues to name a few.

On the other hand, jamun is naturally loaded with essential nutrients such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Biotin, and Zinc, which when combined with karela juice can help in controlling sugar levels and the presence of nutrients and fibers help in boosting metabolic health and overall immunity. Apart from that, drinking this juice regularly may help in treating skin and hair problems, help in detoxification of the system.

How to make delicious Karela and jamun Juice


This homemade drink can be made with half bitter gourd and 5-6 deseeded jamuns. Blend these and strain the juice using a strainer and add in 1 tsp lemon juice, rock salt.

Note: To accentuate the taste of this drink, you can also add in a few fresh coriander leaves and ½ tsp grated ginger. Blend it all together and enjoy!
