The fire basically denotes the digestive fire of our body that carries out functions like digestion, extracting the nutrients from food and converts the food into energy. It is said that a strong digestive fire can keep the gut healthy while a weak digestive fire can cause poor gut health and might lead to toxin accumulation. Metabolism is the rate at which the food you eat is converted into energy. If your metabolism is fast-paced, you will always be high on energy and will also rarely gain weight.
