What do you see in this picture?

The way we perceive an illusion says a lot about our personality. Illusions would trick us to see what is actually different from reality. The word illusion comes from the Latin word "illudere" which means to mock.

While certain optical illusions are simple to observe, few others need high observant skills.

Optical illusions are linked to the personality and characteristics of an individual because it largely determines the way an individual's brain perceives an image.

At first glance, one would simply notice an old man's face outside an arched door. The bald head and bearded face of the old man covers more than half of the space in the picture thus making itself more visible than the rest of the features.

There are nine hidden faces in this picture!!

Contrary to what many would see in the first glance, there are nine hidden faces in this picture. These faces will be hard to find out unless and until you are a keen observer.

The first three prominent ones

These three faces are clearly visible even when you look at it roughly. The old man's picture embedding another old man and the lady are the first three faces one would see here.

While the other old man camouflages within the eyes, nose and beard of the bigger one, the lady's veil clearly blends with the skin of the ear of the old man.

Two faces on either side of the arch over the boundary wall

If you take a closer look in the picture, you can see two faces on either sides of the arch. The pillars lining the boundary wall outline the faces clearly, if you observe closely.

4/7

Two faces to the left side of the arch

There are three faces within the two pillars to the left of the arch. This can be said as a reverse of Rubin's vase, where actually the two faces should have embedded a vase within them unlike in this case where the two faces are in opposite directions but are outlined by the vase-like pillar.

5/7

The lone face in between the pillars

This is the most difficult one to interpret. The face comprises the birds which look like the eyes and nose of a face and secretly lies in between the other two faces.

6/7

The most difficult one!

The last face is in the arms of the lady. The face of the baby!

What does it say about your personality?

According to the Mind Journal, people who can find 6-8 images have observational skills ranging from ordinary to above average. Those who are able to find all the nine images within a few seconds have strong and sharp observational skills and have an exceptional creative mind as well.

People often fail to observe an image keenly as a result of which they see only what is made visible to their eyes. Subsequently, the images which are hidden inside the pictures gets overlooked.

People whose creativity skills are higher than others, see every nook and corner of the picture. These sharp observers will not miss even a blade of grass in a picture.
