Antioxidant rich diet plan for colon

A healthy colon is important for digestion, getting nutrients, and lowering the risk of colon diseases like IBS and colorectal cancer. A five day anti-inflammatory diet full of fiber rich, antioxidant rich, and gut friendly foods can help keep your colon healthy.

2/6

Day 1

A bowl of warm oatmeal with chia seeds, blueberries, and a drizzle of honey on top is a great way to start your day. A salad with quinoa, chickpeas, spinach, bell peppers, olive oil, and lemon dressing is a good choice for lunch. Add yogurt with a lot of probiotics on the side. Dinner can be grilled salmon with steamed broccoli and sweet potato.

3/6

Day 2

Make a green smoothie for breakfast with spinach, banana, almond milk, and flaxseeds. You could have lentil and vegetable soup with whole grain bread for lunch. Add some fermented pickles on the side for probiotics. Try stir fried tofu with brown rice, carrots, and bok choy in a sauce made with ginger and turmeric for dinner.

4/6

Day 3

Start with Greek yogurt and sliced papaya, which are good for your digestion. For lunch, have a whole grain wrap with hummus, avocado, cucumbers, and sprouts. Have a few walnuts as a snack. You could have baked mackerel with roasted Brussels sprouts and quinoa for dinner. For gut health, add kefir or buttermilk.

5/6

Day 4

Begin with chia pudding made with almond milk and fresh berries. A salad made with barley, black beans, olive oil, tomatoes, and parsley is a good choice for lunch. Eat pumpkin seeds as a snack. You could have grilled chicken with kale and mashed cauliflower for dinner. Before bed, drink turmeric golden milk.

Day 5

For breakfast, have a bowl of fruit. A hearty vegetable stew with lentils and herbs can be lunch. Drink a probiotic drink as a snack. A baked sweet potato with mushrooms on top and grilled tempeh on the side is a good dinner.

This 5 day plan is all about foods that fight inflammation, have a lot of different plants in them, and are high in probiotics. These are all important for keeping your colon clean, calm, and working well.
