​In 2018, Mark Wahlberg had shared his fitness routine on social media​


Mark Wahlberg's fitness routine was an inspiration for millions and the moment it came out in 2018 the workout style was a hit among youngsters. 'The Departed' actor wakes up at 2.30 am in the morning to workout! Yes, you heard that right! This extreme fitness routine keeps the actor fit even at the age of 52, though there have been slight variations in it.

​What does his workout comprise?​


The 'Mile 22' actor wakes up at 2.30 am in the morning and that's when his gym workout starts. In a day he does two sessions of workout and a recovery session. Earlier he had shared his workout routine on Instagram. After waking up at 2.30 am, he offers prayer till 2.45 am. He has breakfast at 3.15 am and starts working out at 3.40 am. He does exercises till 5.15 am and at around 5.30 am he has his post workout meal.

​What's after the morning workout session?​


After having a shower at 6 am, he goes for golf practice at 7.30 am. At 9.30 am he has a recovery session in a cryo chamber. You would be surprised to know that he has a second session of workout at around 4 pm.

​His dinner time is earlier than you can ever imagine!​


After having a hectic workout schedule, he has his dinner at 5.30 pm. He goes to sleep at 7.30 pm. In a way, he follows intermittent fasting and keeps a good amount of fasting period between his meals.

​Recently, he has relaxed himself a bit​


In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, he had revealed that he no longer follows the strict workout he used to do. He sleeps until 3.30 am and sometimes till 4 am. His current routine includes vitamins in the morning and an eating window of 12-6 pm. He has maintained his bed time till date.

​He aims to fast for 18 hours a day!​


One consistent part of his healthy routine is intermittent fasting. As per reports, he aims to fast for 18 hours a day and does this for 5 days a week at least. Occasionally he loves swimming and plays golf. "I'm trying to share that information with everybody because I'm really, really seeing the benefits and pretty quickly," the Insider quoted him saying.
