Weight Loss Plan: The best Monday to Sunday plan to lose weight in a week

We all have to agree that our level of motivation is different on different days. Like on Mondays, we feel fully pumped up and are overflowing with motivation but as Wednesday comes, we start getting easy on our fitness goals.

If this is also the case with you, here are some easy steps, one for each day from Monday to Sunday to keep you motivated and pumped up throughout the week.

2/8

Monday (Start strong)

Use Monday as the day to plan out the rest of the week. Mark your calendar with all the plans including all the dinners and happy hours you are planning to attend. Plan strategically about how you will balance the extra calories you will consume there.

Most of us wait for Monday to start our new diet or workout plan because the motivation is at its peak. Set an alarm 45 minutes earlier and hit the gym or go for a run. Follow your workout with a healthy and wholesome breakfast. Make sure to include Greek yoghurt, eggs, veggies and berries in your breakfast.

3/8

Tuesday (Research and read)

Some of the most common Google queries are How to lose weight, healthy ways to lose weight, diet for weight loss and such searches are more common on Mondays and Tuesdays than other days of the week,. This was founded by a research conducted by San Diego State University. But rather than just looking for random queries, seek out blogs and websites that inspire you and subscribe to them.

4/8

Wednesday (Go shopping)

As this is the day when your motivation levels start to dip, do something that excites you. And as most people love shopping, this is the time to go and restock your fruits, veggies and yoghurt. Also, Wednesdays are the least busy days in the markets, which will help you shop in peace.

5/8

Thursday (Do not miss the gym)

Gym attendance drops drastically after Thursday, says a study conducted by Johns Hopkins University. Because you are most likely to skip the gym on Friday, make sure you do not skip your workout on Thursday.

6/8

Friday (Stick to your plan)

As it’s Friyay, stick to your healthy breakfast and lunch before you head out for dinner. Make a rule to choose either a bread basket, drink or a dessert during outside dining.

7/8

Saturday (Splurge a little)

People who eat out, eat at least 236 more calories on Saturday as compared to any other day, says a study published in the journal Obesity. The greasy meal won’t really harm you if you make up by eating healthy in the next meal.

8/8

Sunday (Do something exciting and plan a little)

As you are already cribbing about Monday and office, take out some time to do something that you enjoy. Go for cycling, take your dog for a walk, play badminton or anything else but outdoors.

This is because as per studies, physical activity is the lowest on Sundays. Also, use the day to plan your meals for the next two days at least.

DISCLAIMER: If you want to lose weight, it ultimately depends on how disciplined you are - both in terms of diet and workout.
