Tips from some celebrities who have had jaw-dropping transformations

A lot of celebrity transformations have taken us by surprise and the changes that accompanied their weight loss journey were equally impressive and desirable when viewed carefully. A healthy body is home to a healthy mind and it is also a storehouse for positivity, optimism, motivation and self-love. Maintaining weight is important; being overweight can be harmful to you in more ways than one, and if you’re anywhere close to obesity, it can lead to cardiovascular disorders and have other far-reaching consequences. Here are tips from some celebrities who have had jaw-dropping transformations and have lost more than thirty pounds.

​Think before you eat

As cliché as it may sound, this piece of advice comes from Jordin Sparks who lost fifty pounds in eighteen months. She said that her weight loss was less about her waistline and more about the optimum level of health that she wished to maintain. She questioned everything that she put on her plate and asked important questions like “Do I actually want to eat it or it just looks good?”

​Work out together

Melissa Joan Hart dropped forty pounds after she played the role of Sabrina the teenage witch. Her love for fitness developed even more as she decided to work out with her husband who carried props and both of them worked out together which was as much fun as it was beneficial for their health. The couple spends one hour three days a week doing weight training and also taking cardio and spinning classes together.

​Recognize your body is changing

Charlize Theron had to gain weight for her role in Tully, for which she received a lot of appreciation. After she successfully delivered her role, she decided to lose the extra pounds and her doctor made her aware of the changes that the body goes through with age. Since she was not 27 anymore, she decided to accept the changes in the way her body worked and instilled patience and positivity regarding the same.

Kelly Clarkson gives this admirable piece of advice as she followed the book The Plant Paradox. Her thirty seven pound weight loss proved to be a welcome change in her life and since plant based diets cut out starch it is an even healthier choice that promotes weight loss. Her thyroid condition has benefited greatly because of this diet, too.

Meghan Linsey dropped twenty five pounds and she believes in incentive! She believes that it is not about telling yourself that you should work for a prize but once you get the work done, make sure you give yourself what you desire. After she lost the desired amount of weight, she treated herself to a beach vacation.
