6 fun and learning activities to plan with kids

How to make a fun out of a holiday

In the age of the screens and overbooked schedules, Sundays are our day to unplug and spend time with our kids. And what is better than that than a scheduled day of fun, learning, and bonding for the family?
We think Sunday is a combination of playtime and good times, where you can bounce around, laugh, compete, and then unwind over food and talk. Below are 6 activities to make your next Sunday screen-free, fun family outing.

2/8

Organise a playdate that's more than play

These are the good old days when playtime was nothing but toys and TV. People today yearn for memories to hold onto. Plan a Sunday playdate where kids and adults can bounce, crawl, slide, and laugh. From toddler soft play sessions and all-inclusive trampoline centers to a safe game of laser tag, these are fun activities, but memories that stay.

3/8

Bounce into fitness with trampoline time

One of the most healthy gross motor activities for children that appears to be merely play is actually highly beneficial for them. Trampolining is important for balance and coordination, muscle and bone development, and cardiovascular health. It can also burn off extra energy and build automatic physical confidence, and also just have lots of fun.

4/8

Jump into Life with STEM Ideas

In one big generalization, learning doesn't have to be school, and there are just so many different ways a person can facilitate children's learning. Trampolines are an excellent way to introduce children to the basic principles of STEM concepts, including the law of gravity, momentum, and kinetic energy (which in science terms means motion). When children learn the forces moving things around them, the science happens spontaneously, and they can ask questions about why because they really want to know.

5/8

Play laser tag together

Laser tag isn't just standing and running around shooting toy guns; laser tag is also a game that has thinking, working together, strategy, communication, and thinking fast. When your children are playing with their friends on a team, or the family plays on the same team, laser tag helps them to learn working together, problem-solving, understanding the rules, sportsmanship, etc., while being active.

6/8

Explore new worlds with free-roam VR games

Take your kids further than the world with free-roam VR games that envelop them in virtual environments. With no anchored VR booths in sight, kids (and adults) can walk, step around, shoot, and interact with the game world. It's science fiction, thrilling, and a great way to introduce the tech side of gaming.

7/8

Build resilience through obstacle courses and challenges

Create or join mini obstacle courses that challenge not just agility but also mind and strategy. They're ideal for developing resilience, team building, and lateral thinking. They also provide a healthy dose of competition with lots of high-fiving and cheering in between.

8/8

Easy Day Out for Everyone

Some of our parks are situated within shopping malls, so it is simple to organize a whole day. Allow the children to have their playtime on the trampoline, laser tag, and VR games when you shop, take a quiet snack, or even catch a movie. Or vice versa, begin with family playtime and then indulge in quiet shopping and togetherness. You will be surprised at what children will disclose about themselves after some unstructured, active playtime. We have all the pieces of the puzzle; add smiles.
