Sometimes we end up being alone due to a decision we subconsciously take. Having the courage to spend life all by yourself and being happy in the company of others is truly a lot, to begin with. There are all kinds of cons and pros of being alone. It can get lonely at times when you don’t have a partner but you can also feel free and independent without the jurisdiction of being in a relationship. Not feeling the need
“I have never felt the need to be in a relationship. I have a lot of friends and I am almost busy most of the time. I have never really wanted a partner because I have friends who are there for me when I need them. Why be in a relationship when it’s not needed at all?”

“I got my heart broken when I was 25. It closed me off completely. I have never been a person to try when something drastic has happened. So I didn’t. And it has been over 9 or 10 years since. I just live alone, drowned in my work. It’s the one thing that doesn’t disappoint me.”
