You isolate yourself

Have you been isolating yourself, avoiding people and issues around you a lot? Have you found yourself in situations wherein you wanted to be alone even when there was no problem around you and it was not about being in your own space? If this is true then you are emotionally unhealthy and you need help.

You tell yourself you are fine but aren’t

Do you often just smile to yourself and try to convince your mirror image that you are fine and the reality is the opposite? Do you find yourself in the middle of conflicting feelings often? Many people suppress their emotions and they think that it is okay and a quick fix to certain situations too. Little do they realise that they are ruining their own mental health. Suppression of feelings is not the answer to being “okay”.

You can’t forgive or forget

If you are someone who has more enemies than friends with the reason being that you find yourself incapable of forgiving someone for the smallest of mistakes, then we have a problem. You need to realise that this is toxic behaviour. If you have a hard time letting go of grudges then you need to work on that issue of yours. Forgiveness is very important for someone to stay sane and humans make errors! In case you have such people around you who cannot forgive and take revenge, it is time to let such people go from your life.

You let your insecurities prevail

All of us have insecurities but it is all about how much we let it sneak up to us. Instead of working on them, if you have started building complexes then you are in an extremely unhealthy emotional scenario. You should take baby steps and improve yourself rather than beating yourself up over it. Even the calmest of people around you have some or the other insecurity but it is all about how they work on it.

You are not living your life

Do you let the minutes and hours pass by and just survive instead of living a fulfilling life? If this is where you find yourself everyday, then you need to seek help from experts. You should look forward to your life. Do what you really want to do. Many of us are stuck in jobs which we hate but the money is good and we need it so we trap ourselves in it. The trick is to have a blast after work hours. You must do things for your own sanity. Join activites, read books, dance, paint, play any game, make candles, cook and bake. Do anything you love, for yourself! Go on solo trips! Plan it out!
