What makes Radhika Merchant the perfect 'Choti bahu' of the Ambani family

The richest family in India, Mukesh and Nita Ambani's youngest son Anant Ambani is all set get married to his fiance Radhika Merchant. Anant and Radhika have known each other for seven years; they got engaged at the NathDwara Temple in 2022 which was followed by an official engagement ceremony in Mumbai in January 2023. Their grand three-day pre-wedding celebrations took place from March 1 to 3, 2024 in Jamnagar. It was attended by the who's who of the business, tech, and celebrity worlds which is the talk of the town currently.
Here we list down some reasons that make Radhika Merchant the perfect 'Choti bahu' of the Ambani family.

"When I first met Radhika, I knew that Anant has found his soulmate. His perfect companion. And I found another daughter who shares my love for dance and, of course, my love for my son! Radhika, we welcome you with open hearts and arms as the Ambani beti. You are not just Anant's partner, but a cherished daughter, sister, maasi, kaaki, maami, and the light of all our lives," Nita Ambani said, praising and welcoming Radhika into the Ambani khandaan in her speech at Anant-Radhika's pre-wedding celebrations.

Anant Ambani revealed what made him fall in love with Radhika in an interview with India Today. Anant said that when he was a child, he was so occupied with taking care of his animals that he never thought he would ever get married. And now, after knowing and dating Radhika he feels she is the right one for him as she has similar charity bhaav, just like him.
In his pre-wedding speech, Anant also expressed his love and gratitude towards Radhika and called himself the luckier one amongst the two to have got Radhika as his life partner. Now, isn't that adorable?

Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani have known each other for a couple of years now. And while she is making the headlines now, she has been a part of the Ambani household for many years now. It is noted that even before their roka or engagement, Radhika was often seen with the Ambanis at their major events, including Isha Ambani's wedding in 2018 and Akash Ambani's wedding in 2019.
Over the years, it is not just Anant but also Mukesh, Nita, Isha and Akash Ambani who have grown fond of her.
In fact, in her pre-wedding speech Radhika shared that Mukesh Ambani is a father-figure to her, while she greatly admired the strong Ambani women-- Nita, Isha, and Shloka. She also thanked Akash for always being there for her and Anant.

Anant Ambani in an interview said that his to-be-wife Radhika Merchant became his solid support system and his pillar of strength when he was battling health issues. “I am lucky (to have her) for sure. She is the person of my dreams. Since childhood, I had thought that I would never get married because I was always devoted to taking care of animals. But when I met Radhika, I saw her sharing the same values as me. She has this sense of giving and nurturing towards animals," Anant Ambani told India Today.

Anant Ambani has struggled with various health issues, including obesity and asthma, since his childhood days. In an earlier interview his mother Nita Ambani had told TOI that Anant “was highly asthmatic so we had to put him on a lot of steroids." This led to his weight gain.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are all set to marry each other on July 12, 2024.
