Ashera

One of the rarest and costliest cat breeds is the Ashera, priced between $22,000 and $1,25,000 (INR 18,41,808 to INR 1,04,64,818)! It is a mix of a domestic cat, an African serval, and an Asian leopard cat. Its striking leopard-like appearance makes the Ashera look bigger, weighing between 26 and 33 pounds. Though it has a wild heritage, it has reportedly a calm and affectionate temperament-- thus it is unique and exotic as a pet.

Savannah Cat

The Savannah cats are a hybrid between a domestic cat and a serval, which is an African wild cat. They are tall, and sleek with large ears and have spotted coats. They are sold at high prices in the range of $10,000 to $50,000 (INR 8,37,185 to INR 41,85,927). Savannah cats are very active, intelligent, and demanding. They require a lot of stimulation and attention and are often described as dog-like because of their loyalty and playful personalities.

British Shorthair

The British Shorthair is a pedigree breed of the traditional British domestic cat, characterized by its dense coat, round face, and stocky build. Prices can vary anywhere from $1,500 to $5,0003 (INR 125577 to INR 4186178). They are loving and easy-going companions for families. British Shorthairs are not demanding and do not create a great deal of fuss from anyone and prefer to stay close to owners, but are not clingy as well.

This cat breed is famous for its lack of fur which gives it an exceptional and striking appearance. Sphynx cats' prices range between $1,500 to $3,000 (INR 125577 to INR 251155). They are warm to the touch and have a suede-like texture. Sphynx cats are known to be of playful, energetic, and affectionate nature. They are attention-loving cats and are often described as "Velcro cats" because they stick close to their owners.

The Russian Blue features a short, dense bluish-grey coat with deep green eyes. The price for a Russian Blue ranges from $500 to $3,000 (INR 41859 to INR 251155). They are very smart and gentle yet can be reserved, which is why they make good pets. In addition, Russian Blues are always loyal and tend to be close to their owners. They have low maintenance and adapt to an environment easily.
