In a recent update, Mumbai airport has announced that it will remain shut for six hours on May 7, 2026. As per airport authorities, operations at Mumbai’s primary aviation hub will remain completely halted from 11 AM to 5 PM on Thursday. During this time, no flights will take off or land, as both runways, 09/27 (primary) and 14/32 (secondary) will remain shut for pre-monsoon maintenance.
