Quote of the day from Bhagavad Gita: "Change is the law of universe"
Bhagavad Gita is one of the most sacred texts that teaches about life and truth. In this holy book, it is clearly written that nothing is permanent in this universe and change is the law of universe. Now we need to understand that why Lord Krishna said that and what he wanted to make Arjuna understand through this statement.
The statement was given to Arjuna when they were in the battlefield of Kurukshetra and this popular quote is taken from chapter 2, where he explained that change is the law of nature and nothing is permanent in this universe. Everything in this world that is in physical form change while your soul remains eternal.
According to Bhagavad Gita, the change is the rule of the nature. The relationships you make here in this world are temporary, every experience in life whether it is happiness, sorrow, failure and success, your childhood or your old age is temporary not permanent. Lord Krishna teaches that rules can not be changed and you have to go through that only. Seasons always change - from summer to winter and even Sun changes its position. You need to understand the change of nature and balance yourself accordingly.
According to the Bhagavad Gita, you can not change your soul but your body changes time to time. This is a huge difference between body and your soul. Your soul remains the same always but the body keep on changing. The body transforms from childhood to youth to become old and then die but your soul remains the unchanged because it is eternal.
This is the harsh truth of life that you need to understand and when you understand that your body is not permanent and accept the change of the law then you remove the fear of loss, death, and uncertainty from your heart. Change only affects your outer world and not your soul, not you. People often understand that the body is everything but here they need to understand that your soul is everything not your body.
Now the main questions comes that why change is important? Change is important for your growth, evolution and for your learning also. This is a process of life and these changes come into your life to make you a better person not to give you punishments. These changes will teach you something about life. There's always a lesson behind every change whether you lose someone in life or you receive betrayal or you become a successful person. Even hardships and obstacles that come in your life, teaches you a lot about life and how you behave during that difficult phase of life. You must accept the change and try to balance your life accordingly.
