Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently seen hosting &TV’s India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun?, has always supported the cause of women empowerment. Recently, while hosting an episode, contestants requested Shah Rukh Khan to wear a saree. The ladies present offered to drape the saree for SRK and the baadshah of Bollywood happily agreed to sport the six yards.

Shah Rukh Khan: After failing so many times, there's no nervousness

Shah Rukh Khan made it big in the showbiz industry with TV shows like Fauji and Circus and he soon went on to become the Badshah of Bollywood. However, SRK's return to television has not been a smooth journey as he failed to impress viewers with KBC, Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Ho and Zor Ka Jhatka. But the superstar is not at all nervous about his second innings on television.

"I have done KBC, Paanchvi Paas and Zor Ka Jhatka in the past. I started my career with Television and believe that I did good work on TV. I think I am one of those actors from TV who want to come back to the medium and do good work. And I don't think I have got a chance to do good work like that before. After failing so many times, I don't get nervous anymore. Now my aim will be that people like the show," said Shah Rukh who will be hosting India Poochega- Sabse Shaana Kaun?

Shah Rukh says that the show is more close to his personality, "I think this show is more close to my personality because the interaction with the contestants is free flowing. I talk to people, make them laugh and get a lot of warmth from them. I usually don't get so many opportunities to meet people. Both the creative team and Siddhartha Basu are the best people of this industry. So hopefully I will live up to the expectations and the rest is in the hands of the viewers. My experience so far has been amazing and I think people will like this show."

The Happy New Year actor feels that the medium doesn't matter to him, whether it is TV or Bollywood, "The medium is not important, my effort and the entertainment value on that medium is more important," concludes Shah Rukh.

He is one of the most charismatic actors that our industry has. He is able to think on his feet, what we call hazirjawaab. He has a very quick and sharp wit and a sense of humour which works very well on the show. He has the style which is very important. It's called the shaan factor. "

Further adding, "He is one of the most sporting actors. Shah Rukh is a very warm person and it shows in the way he meets people. Everybody loves him on the show and he loves them back. There's a lot of hugging and kissing that happens on the show which is very infectious. And one more thing, he has the Chutzpah (a Hebrew word which was used in the film Haider). He is a great fit for the show and these are the things that make him the very best anchors we have on Indian Television and perhaps anywhere in the world."
