Gujarat Giants have been a dominant force with the bat but can they do the job against Lauren Bell and co? RCB have won two out of two but while batting second. A different challenge awaits them? Stay tuned for the chase.

The Gujarat Giants will be kicking themselves for letting a position of absolute dominance slip through their fingers. After reducing the Royal Challengers to a vulnerable state, the Giants' discipline evaporated under pressure, allowing RCB to escape a subpar total through a flurry of late-innings runs. This tactical lapse was compounded by a subdued fielding performance in the second half, which lacked the intensity required to sustain their early momentum. While Sophie Devine stood out as the pick of the attack with three crucial wickets, the lack of support from the rest of the unit, who proved expensive despite chipping in has left the Giants facing a much steeper mountain to climb than they initially anticipated.

The recovery was built on the shoulders of Richa Ghosh and Radha Yadav, who combined for a magnificent 105-run partnership. It was a masterclass in rebuilding; they navigated the pressure of a precarious position with a blend of sensible strike rotation and calculated aggression. Ghosh, known for her finishing prowess, found an unlikely but incredibly steady ally in Radha Yadav, whose contribution ensured the Giants couldn't run through the tail. Not to take away the late cameo from Nadine De Klerk. 

What an extraordinary turnaround we’ve witnessed at the DY Patil Stadium! Royal Challengers Bengaluru looked to be in dire straits after a top-order collapse left them reeling at 43/4. With the Giants' bowlers firing on all cylinders, RCB appeared headed for a sub-par total, but they showed the heart of a lion to claw their way back to a competitive 182/7.
