GT's bowling woes continue, with most of their bowlers struggling to contain the opposition. Prasidh Krishna was the lone bright spot, picking up 2/22. With their batting strength, GT can still chase down big scores, but they'll need to address their bowling issues to secure a top-two spot. A big challenge lies ahead for the Titans to regroup and come back stronger.

A solid batting display from the Chennai Super Kings propels them to a massive score of 230/6 in their 20 overs. Opting to bat first, the CSK openers gave them a blazing start with Ayush Mhatre taking the charge and making a brisk 34. Urvil Patel carried on the good work and smashed a quick 37 while Devon Conway anchored the innings with a sublime fifty. Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja struck a few lusty blows, but it was the young Protea – Dewald Brevis who played a game-changing knock of 57 off just 23 balls and took his side to an above-par score.
