India vs Sri Lanka 2nd T20I Highlights: Sri Lanka clinch low-scoring thriller to level series

India steadily get to 61 for the loss of one wicket after 10 overs. Things have slowed up quite a bit for India after the wicket of Ruturaj Gaikwad (21). The Sri Lankan spinners are putting pressure on both Indian left-handers Shikhar Dhawan and Devdutt Padikkal. And they have been pretty successful so far in doing the same.

Shikhar Dhawan charges down the track and slams Ramesh Mendis straight down the ground. One bounce and over the fence. The ball comfortably beats the long-off fielder. IND 59/1 after 9.3 overs.

Wicket on the final ball of the over for Dasun Shanaka. A quick bumper from Shanaka and it catches Ruturaj Gaikwad by surprise. He goes for the pull but mistimes, skies the ball. Wicket-keeper Minod Bhanuka completes an easy catch as Gaikwad walks back for 21. IND 49/1 after 7 overs.

Isuru Udana fires the ball into the pads of Shikhar Dhawan. He dances down the track and converts it into a full toss. Flicks the ball through the mid-wicket region and the ball races to the fence. Superb footwork from Dhawan on that occasion. IND 38/0 after 4.4 overs.

An expensive first over from Akila Dananjaya. Leaks 13 runs in it including a couple of boundaries. Both Shikhar Dhawan and Ruturaj Gaikwad looking good and settled at the crease.

First boundary for Ruturaj Gaikwad in international cricket. Goes into the attack mode straightaway against the off spinner Akila Dananjaya. Shuffles outside the leg stump and plays the ball inside-out over covers to collect four runs.

A decent start from Chamika Karunaratne from the other end. Just 6 came off his first over. And, Sri Lanka go in with spin in the third over as Akila Dananjaya comes into the attack.

Both India openers Shikhar Dhawan and debutant Ruturaj Gaikwad get off the in the first over itself. Dushmantha Chameera starts off with an expensive 9-run over that also included a boundary. Chamika Karunaratne to share the new ball with Chameera from the other end.
