11 wickets for Axar!

India's Axar Patel claimed an 11-wicket match haul as they beat England by 10 wickets inside two days in the day-night third Test, dashing the tourists' hopes of making the final of the inaugural World Test Championship (WTC) in June. (BCCI Photo)

Root, Leach combine well

England had been on the backfoot since being skittled out for 112 in their first innings at the world's largest cricket stadium. Yet Joe Root (5-8) and Jack Leach (4-54) wreaked havoc with the pink ball to drag the tourists back into the contest by bowling out India for 145. (BCCI Photo)

Patel triggers batting collapse

England, however, suffered a second batting collapse to allow the hosts to take charge again. Patel had claimed six of the 10 English wickets in the first innings and the left-arm spinner, who was named man-of-the-match, returned to haunt them with the figures of 5-32. (BCCI Photo)

Stokes, Root fall quickly

Ashwin second fastest to 400 Test wickets

Ashwin, playing his 77th Test, dismissed four batsmen en route to reaching 400 Test wickets, becoming the second fastest to reach the milestone after Sri Lankan great Muttiah Muralitharan, who made it in his 72nd Test. (BCCI Photo)

if India is bowled out for 36 in Australia in one session indian batsmen are blamed and if England gets bowled out for 81 it is worst pitch. what sort of argument. India scored 49 winning runs in 8 overs without loosing any wicket. The caliber of batsman could be questioned for there inept handling of spinners and the pitch was not unplayable. Let us know to appreciate the genius of our bowlers.
