Jasprit Bumrah, who didn’t play the second Test match at Edgbaston, was having a blast from the sidelines.In a video posted by the Edgbaston Cricket Ground, India’s spearhead was seen trolling his captain Shubman Gill.

On Day 5, captain Shubman Gill was seen rolling his arm over before the start of the day’s play.

Bumrah, after watching Gill bowl, said: “Cut pe cut kha raha tha World Cup mein (He was continuously being cut by the batter in the ODI World Cup).”Bumrah was referring to the 2023 ODI World Cup, where in a group match against the Netherlands, Rohit Sharma had thrown the ball to Shubman Gill.
Gill had bowled two overs without taking any wicket. His bowling figures read: 2-0-11-0.Yaad hai tereko 2023 mein daali thi Netherlands ke saamne (Remember, you bowled against the Netherlands in 2023),” Bumrah asked one of the teammate.
