Shreyas Iyer played a fighting knock of 67 but lost partners at regular intervals at the other end. The hosts never got the required momentum as England bowlers bowled superbly to keep the opposition in check. For England, Jofra Archer picked up three wickets while Adil Rashid, Mark Wood, Chris Jordan and Ben Stokes managed a wicket apiece.

This time on the off side. Once again timed beautifully from Shreyas and finds the gap. Cuts the ball behind point and the ball beats the third-man fielder. Iyer moves to 48. India 91/4
