Another really good wicket in store, doesn't look high scoring but hopefully we can put up a good enough score to challenge them. Mark Wood hasn't pulled up well, Tom Curran takes his place.

EOIN MORGAN, ENGLAND CAPTAIN

We are going to bowl first. Looks like the track was a bit up and down with no dew last game. So we feel better to bowl first and restrict. Dhawan is missing this game, Axar is not part as well. Suryakumar and Ishan Kishan are making their debuts. We are a side that is looking to get away from templates.

VIRAT KOHLI, INDIA CAPTAIN

It was a great performance. Set the tone early with the ball and a clinical chase, great start to the series. We got a really strong squad and we got lots of guys pushing each other for a place in the eleven. Being a senior guy in the set-up and the younger guys coming in driving the standard as well. It's a great place to be and a great team to be part of. Always good to see them (Wood and Archer) play alongside each other, Woody consistently clocking 90 miles, and match winners both of them in their own right. It's been a long year with no crowds, playing India in India is fantastic and great to see the crowd back at the ground.

JOS BUTTLER, England cricketer

PITCH REPORT
It is a different surface, this is a black soil pitch. Definitely less grass than the first game and when I rub my hand on the surface, it looks abrasive. There was no dew the other day. Will it play any different, will it bring the spinners in? asks Murali Karthik. Ajit Agarkar responds that he expects the pitch to play the same way it did on Friday.

India are down but not out
India are down but not out

Can Virat Kohli's men bounce back and make it 1-1 today?

Unless something really goes wrong, this England team is a contender to win the T20 World Cup trophy in October this year with way too many powerhouse performers.

Eoin Morgan, one among the more likeable international captains, has been provided a team that has its bases covered with 12 players plying their trade in the IPL.
17:27 (IST) Mar 14
But Rohit's presence is very necessary at the top of the order and even though no one is really talking about it, it's been long since the Indian skipper has had an impactful T20 performance. He is too good a player to miss out.
17:27 (IST) Mar 14
Rohit Sharma, as per Kohli, is rested for a couple of matches having played 6 consecutive Test matches along with 14 days of hard quarantine at the start of his Australian sojourn.
17:27 (IST) Mar 14
While giving his team's oldest member, Shikhar Dhawan, a couple of matches is perfectly understandable but how long does he want to persist with the left-hander, who looked completely out of sorts during his 4 off 12 balls.
17:27 (IST) Mar 14
However, as skipper Virat Kohli talks about players with X-factors doing the job, he would expect Rishabh Pant and Pandya to do a bit more with their explosive hitting, which should not be confined to one audacious reverse scoop (Pant off Jofra Archer) or a falling ramp shot (Pandya off Ben Stokes).

One defeat is never the end of the story and no critic can rule this Indian team out of the series on the basis of a singular performance especially because of its zeal to fight.
