659 CISF Personnel Trained As Airport Security Gets Major Anti-Drone Technology Boost | Watch

The CISF has partnered with the Indian Army to strengthen airport security against rising drone threats, particularly in sensitive regions like Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. A total of 659 personnel have completed military-grade training and will form Quick Response Teams at airports by year-end. The force is also testing full-body scanners and introducing barcode-based staff tracking systems. Officials reviewed security upgrades, counter-terror preparedness and technological enhancements during a high-level operational meeting chaired by CISF DG Praveer Ranjan.
