India vs England

India will begin their much-anticipated five-match Test series against England from June 20, with the first Test set to be played at Headingley, Leeds. The marquee tour, running until August 4, promises a fierce red-ball battle across iconic venues like Lord's and the Oval.

The second Test will be staged at Edgbaston in Birmingham starting July 2, followed by the third at Lord’s from July 10. The penultimate clash will be held at Old Trafford from July 23, while the series concludes with the fifth Test at The Oval beginning July 31.

Ahead of the series, India A will face England Lions in two four-day matches — May 30 at Canterbury and June 6 at Northampton. Abhimanyu Easwaran will lead the India A side, with Dhruv Jurel as vice-captain.

England Lions have named Rocky Flintoff, son of former all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, and a fit-again Chris Woakes for the warm-up games, adding a mix of youth and experience.

As India eye a historic Test triumph on English soil, these preparatory matches could prove crucial in determining the squad's red-ball rhythm.
