A Rajpoot to S Yadav, Played to the point region by the batsman.
A Rajpoot to S Yadav, NOT OUT! Rahul gets this wrong. Back of a length ball on leg, Yadav looks to help this on its way but he seems to have missed his flick. There is a noise as the ball goes to the keeper. Rahul thinks that must have taken a faint tickle so appeals. The umpire stays put. After a long chat with his skipper, Ashwin takes it up. Replays show us that there was no bat involved and noise was of the ball brushing the thigh pad. Punjab lose their lone review.
Now! Rahul has asked the captain to take the referral for a caught behind shout. He thinks Yadav has nicked this to him.

The Punjab wickets were shared by the Mumbai bowlers. They leaked runs at the start but some inspirational bowling changes by Rohit Sharma stopped the run flow. Bumrah was exceptional with the ball, giving away just 19 runs in his four overs. So, a must-win game for Mumbai and they would back themselves to get this target as the ground here is not the biggest. Chase is on the way!
A good finish for Punjab! They will be happy with how they have ended their innings. Rahul and Gayle got them off to a solid start. The duo added another 50-run stand to their name. Once Rahul fell, the Universe Boss muscled his way to his 24th Indian T20 League fifty. Yuvraj Singh was promoted up the order but failed to capitalize on it. Punjab then started to lose their way in the middle but a handy cameo from Marcus Stoinis in the last over of Hardik Pandya ensured the hosts got past the 170-mark.
H Pandya to M Stoinis, FOUR! Stoinis ends the innings in grand style! 22 runs from the final over of the innings! Hardik has been taken to the cleaners by Stoinis! Short of a length ball on the stumps, Stoinis backs away a long way and spanks it flat to mid-wicket for a boundary. PUNJAB FINISH ON 174/6!
H Pandya to M Stoinis, SIX! Upper cut and that's another maximum! Stoinis is on fire! Short of a length ball outside off stump, he waits on the back foot and doesn't panic. Plays with the angled bat and carves it over the third man fence for half a dozen.
Ravichandran Ashwin strides out next.
