NEW DELHI: Despite a slow start to IPL 2025, Mumbai Indians batting coach Kieron Pollard has thrown his full support behind India skipper Rohit Sharma, urging critics to show patience and perspective.
Rohit, who has managed just 21 runs from three innings this season, is yet to find his rhythm. However, Pollard, a long-time teammate of Rohit, reminded everyone of the opener's illustrious record and recent heroics.

Rohit entered the IPL fresh off a title-winning Champions Trophy campaign, where he scored a match-winning 76 in the final against New Zealand.
Pollard believes the veteran deserves space. "He has earned the right to enjoy his cricket now and not be pressurised. Let's not judge too quickly. We'll be singing his praises again soon enough."
