The skipper of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Pat Cummins, says that he is fine to bat first as the wicket looks pretty good and they are also going in with the same team. Adds that the guys have been training here in Mumbai, and they are looking fresh to go. Mentions that about the break that they have got, it depends on each individual, and sometimes, you like it and sometimes, you don’t, but the five days have passed quite quickly. States that the ball is reversing at a couple of venues where it is dry, but reckons that it won't reverse much with the dew setting in.

Hardik Pandya, the captain of Mumbai Indians, says that his decision to bowl first is a lot to do with the dew factor. Adds that last time they practised, there was a lot of dew, and it tends to become good for batting in the second innings. Mentions that it was a great win and a close one, but it has given them a lot of confidence.  Says that it was a collective decision to send the in-form batters up the order, but they are going to back everyone as they have done so far. Further, they don't have to worry about Jasprit Bumrah's fitness, as he is fully fit and firing. Informs that they are unchanged.
