MUMBAI: The CoA has decided that the orders of the Ethics Officer, DK Jain, will not be published on the
BCCI website. Only the guidelines for filing complaints with the Apex Council will be published on the website.
"It was noted that there is no specific requirement in the BCCI constitution for the orders of the Ethics Officer to be published and that only the report of the Ethics Officer to the AGM of the BCCI and disclosures made pursuant to any such orders are to be published on the BCCI website," mention the minutes of the meeting.
Currently, Jain has dealt with multiple complaints of conflict of interest, with some of them being against Indian cricket legends like
Sachin Tendulkar,
Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman, and the latest being
Rahul Dravid.
TNPL's request rejectedThe CoA has once again rejected Tamil Nadu Cricket Association's (TNCA) request to include outstation players in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL). In the past, the BCCI has never allowed outstation players in any state association run league.
