Hayley Matthews of the West Indies and Pakistan’s Fatima Sana to clinch the award. Her commanding presence throughout the qualifiers earned her the title of Player of the Tournament as well.
“It’s a real honour to win this award," Bryce said. "Knowing that it’s being voted for by the global cricket community makes it that extra bit special; even just to be nominated alongside two players of the stature of Fatima Sana and Hayley Matthews, who both had fantastic tournaments themselves, was amazing."
With 293 runs in just five matches at an average of 73.25, Bryce finished as the tournament’s leading run-scorer. She registered a century and two half-centuries, underlining her reliability at the top. Her most memorable knock came against Ireland—an unbeaten 131 off 137 balls, the highest individual score of the tournament, showcasing her poise under pressure.
But Bryce’s impact wasn’t limited to the bat. With the ball, she claimed six crucial wickets, often breaking partnerships at pivotal moments. Her all-round prowess helped Scotland secure notable wins, including a stunning upset over West Indies in their opening game.
