Pakistan vs Australia 1st T20 Highlights: Pakistan beat Australia by 22 runs

Adam Zampa is in for a chat -  Zampa says the wicket was good to bat on and it was hard to bowl around the Powerplay. Reckons that his job is to take wickets in the middle overs and feels his job got easy as the ball got a little softer and got a bit of turn. Shares that he bowls according to the conditions,  there are short boundaries, so he tries to be defensive and tosses the odd ball up. Admits the experience helps him a lot. Expects his batters to take on in the chase.

Australia found a way - For Australia, Xavier Bartlett struck with the very first ball of the match, removing Farhan, but the bowlers found it difficult to contain the scoring after that. Adam Zampa then stepped in and made an immediate impact, picking up wickets at regular intervals and applying sustained pressure through his spell. He finished with impressive figures of 4/24, while Bartlett and Beardman chipped in with two wickets apiece to provide solid support.

Innings Break - A fine comeback by Australia restricted Pakistan to a sub-par 168/8 from their 20 overs. Opting to bat first, Pakistan lost Farhan for a duck early, but Saim Ayub and Agha Salman counterattacked with a 74-run stand for the second wicket to lay a solid foundation. However, once both batters were dismissed, Pakistan struggled to maintain momentum and lost wickets at regular intervals. Late contributions from Usman Khan and Mohammad Nawaz added some valuable runs down the order, helping Pakistan push the total past the 165 mark.
