The physio is out to check on Matheesha Pathirana. One can see a few spots of blood dripping down onto the ground but Ravindra Jadeja seems to be kind of assuring the physio that it is just a minor scratch. The scenes do look a bit worrisome, but looking at the body language of the CSK players, it does appear that it might not be a huge issue. Let's hope Pathirana is fine. The replay shows that Pathirana's chin collided with Jadeja's arm and the contact looked to be a touch hard. It is easy to say that the players should have called but the answer would be a gentle recommendation to visit the Chinnaswamy. It is deafening. How does your call get heard? All set to resume now.

The ball flies up off the top edge and goes over the backward point region. Ravindra Jadeja chases after it from short third as Matheesha Pathirana comes charging in from deep backward point. Jadeja has the ball in his grasp but he ends up running into Pathirana and that impact makes the ball pop out of his hands. A single taken and Pathirana is down on the deck, hopefully, he is fine. Bethell seems to have the stroke of luck today.
