We are back for the chase! The umpires are back out in the middle and it is Rashid Khan who leads the GT troops out to the middle and not Shubman Gill. It will be the duo of Yashasvi Jaiswal and young Vaibhav Suryavanshi to open the innings for RR. Actually, Gill has been subbed out and Ishant Sharma is brought in as the Impact Player, which means Rashid will be the captain for GT. Mohammed Siraj has the new ball in hand and is raring to go.

... The Run Chase ...

Right then, 210 is what Rajasthan Royals need to pick up two points and keep their playoff hopes alive, and a lot will ride on their dynamic openers. Gujarat Titans do have wicket-takers up top, and that match-up between the GT pacers against the RR openers will be a contest to keep an eye on. Don't go away, as the chase is up next.

Jos Buttler, the man of the moment, is down for a chat. He says it's a nice performance and lauds the openers for setting up another strong platform to get to this total. Mentions that it is a good wicket with a fast outfield and they will have to bowl well. Further says they had a talk in the middle and felt 190 could be the total they need if the dew comes in later. States that every time a team gets beyond 200, it is a good score but they will have to do well with the ball in hand. Concludes by appreciating the consistency and talent of both openers.

Rajasthan Royals needed to back their skipper's decision with the ball but failed to get any wickets in the Powerplay. After the first 6 overs though, they did manage to hold up one end and finally got a wicket. That didn't do them any good as they failed to build on it and the scoring rate started to rise. The wickets did come towards the death but RR ended up conceding way too many boundaries and runs.

Gujarat Titans with another classic batting performance and it was that opening stand that set it all up yet again. Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan put on 93 runs in just 10.2 overs, when Sai got out. Gill didn't take his foot off the pedal and Jos Buttler just came in and joined the party. The duo accelerated in the middle overs before Gill fell for a fine 84. Buttler kept on finding the boundaries along with the likes of Sundar, Tewatia, and Khan, who all came in and hit at least one boundary each to finish on a high. Buttler also managed to notch up a Fifty on the last ball of the innings against his former team.

Yet another blockbuster of a performance from GT's top three and the Titans have put a massive total on the board. It did feel like a 180 wicket but GT have gone past 200 runs. RR will need to bring their A-game with the bat if they are to have any chances of gunning this total down.
