Marco Jansen to Khurram Shahzad, OUT! CAUGHT! The nightwatchman is dismissed at last. South Africa were getting frustrated with this 30-run stand and have got their first wicket of the day. But, Khurram Shahzad has done his job. As a nightwatchman, Khurram's role was to safeguard Masood till Stumps on Day 3 and bat for as long as possible today. He has done both, having batted for nearly 40 minutes in the morning. Coming to the delivery, it was delivered on a length, from around the wicket and the line was a bit wider outside off. Shahzad reached out to push it away from his body but he did not move his feet. Additionally, the ball seemed to stop on the wicket and hence, the shot got played early. The ball came onto the face of the bat and spooned gently to Keshav Maharaj at backward point who took it easily. Khurram Shahzad departs for a resilient 18 and Pakistan are 235/2, trailing by 186 runs.

Now, the ball went off something to Aiden Markram at first slip and the Proteas appealed for both, caught and LBW. Maharaj definitely thought it was out, but Markram said there was no bat involved. As far as LBW was concerned, Kyle Verreynne, the keeper, suggested that it was too high.
Major news coming from the South African dressing room - RYAN RICKELTON WILL NOT TAKE THE FIELD IN THIS INNINGS. If need be, he will come out to bat. He is sitting in the dressing room, braving a smile. Don't think he would have featured in the Champions Trophy squad any which ways, but he will definitely miss a few matches of the SA20.

Just came to know that Ryan Rickelton has not taken the field this morning. The news from the South African dressing room is that he is suffering from cramps but that reason looks a bit weird. Suspect it has got to do something with his hamstring. Last evening, while trying to run after a ball, Rickelton experienced some discomfort. Could be related to that. Corbin Bosch is substituting for him.
