But, Khurram Shahzad has done his job. As a nightwatchman, Khurram's role was to safeguard Masood till Stumps on Day 3 and bat for as long as possible today. He has done both, having batted for nearly 40 minutes in the morning. Coming to the delivery, it was delivered on a length, from around the wicket and the line was a bit wider outside off. Shahzad reached out to push it away from his body but he did not move his feet. Additionally, the ball seemed to stop on the wicket and hence, the shot got played early. The ball came onto the face of the bat and spooned gently to Keshav Maharaj at backward point who took it easily. Khurram Shahzad departs for a resilient 18 and Pakistan are 235/2, trailing by 186 runs.

Corbin Bosch is substituting for him.
