Kim Garth to Shweta Sehrawat, OUT! TAKEN! Mansi Joshi seems to have taken a fine low catch at short third man and Shweta Sehrawat starts walking. The umpires though send it upstairs to be certain and the soft signal is out. the replays roll in and the third umpire concludes that the fingers are underneath the ball. Coming to the ball, Kim Garth bowls it a tad short and wide. Shweta Sehrawat looks to cut it hard but gets an outside edge toward short third man where Mansi Joshi takes a sharp catch and Kim Garth gets her second wicket of the over.

Kim Garth to Kiran Navgire, Poor cricket all around! Good length angling well down the leg side and the keeper fails to collect the ball as well. The two batters are left starnded in the middle as the throw at the keeper's end is a wide one. They scamper back and the throw from the fielder backing up is at the non-striker's end where Kiran Navgire is struggling to get back. The fielder there fails to collect the ball and they eventually get an overthrow along with the wide.

Kim Garth to Kiran Navgire, FOUR! Uppish but in the gap! Overpitched around off, Kiran Navgire punches it on the up and the ball goes wide of the diving fielder at mid off and into the fence.

Kim Garth to Alyssa Healy, OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Kim Garth with a huge wicket! This is pitched up around middle and Alyssa Healy looks to flick it away through mid-wicket. Healy closes the face of the bat early and gets up getting a leading edge. The ball gets chipped to the left of Kim Garth who takes a sharp reflex catch on the followthrough. Healy walks back for a low score and this is just the start Gujarat would have wanted.

Tanuja Kanwer to Shweta Sehrawat, FOUR! A tad shorter and on middle, Shweta Sehrawat gets inside the line and helps it fine of the fielder at short fine leg for a boundary.

Another arm ball sliding into the pads and Sehrawat misses the block. Right then, Gujarat have posted a good total of 169 runs on the board and will be hoping for their bowlers to defend this. For UP, the onus is on their batters to put up a good stand and chase this down. Which side will get over the line? Let's fine out together. Chase coming up shortly...

Harleen Deol says that 169 is a good total and they have a good bowling side as well. Adds that it was a bit of a strategy to hold back Ashleigh Gardner and she is someone who can rattle the opposition bowlers and take the game deep. Adds that she had a chat with Gardner to just play the ball on the merit and put on a stand. Mentions that the wicket isn't turning and the ball is coming on nicely. Ends up saying that the first game didn't work out for them but it is all about forgetting it quickly and start fresh.

The UP side will be slightly upset with how things ended up for them. They fumbled with the fielding as well and conceded 102 runs in the last 10 overs. Deepti Sharma and Sophie Ecclestone picked up two wickets and were quite economical. Tahlia McGrath picked one but was a bit expensive for her likes. Anjali Sarvani was quite expensive but she managed to pick up a crucial wicket of Harleen Deol. 

A fine, fine comeback into the game from the Gujarat batters as they have put up a good total of 169 runs on the board. Let me remind you that they were reeling at 67/3 at the halfway stage. They started off well but went on the back foot after both the openers were dismissed. Harleen Deol came on then and steadied the sinking ship for them.
