Fortnite leaks: List of all new collaborations and skins in v39.40

Fortnite is heading into the final month of Chapter 7 Season 1, but Epic Games is showing no signs of slowing down in terms of collaborations. Essentially, there have been new reports suggesting that there will be a plethora of new crossovers taking place as part of the game’s upcoming v39.40 update.
Prominent dataminers ShiinaBR and AdiraFNInfo are the ones who have posted the leaks. Given that they are pretty reliable, there are high chances that all the new content that they specify will make their way into the battle royale experience.

New Fortnite skins and collaborations expected in v39.40

The v39.40 update is going to be the first patch of February, and it will be introducing an impressive array of new skins and collaborations. These recent leaks fall in line with Epic Games doubling down on their strategy of bringing over 100+ gaming legends skins throughout 2026.
Here is the leaked roster for the v39.40 update, as stated by data miners:

• Major collaborations: You can expect characters from Marvel Rivals, potentially around Valentine's Day. Alongside the same, you can expect Jinu & Saja Boys.
• Pop culture icons: Chappell Roan is set to join the battle royale experience as part of Fortnite's expanding Icon Series. The Chappell Roan Festival event is one of the most awaited things.
• Special event content: Valentine's Day is also around the corner, and the developers will be introducing themed event skins to the Item Shop. This maintains Fortnite's tradition of seasonal cosmetics. Besides that, an Ice Hockey Girl Survey Skin has been leaked.
• Sidekicks: A Derpy Sidekick is also coming, adding to Fortnite's growing roster of companion cosmetics that follow players during matches.

Besides these, a few other collaborations have also been leaked, and they could arrive in v39.40 or future updates.

Release timeline and pricing

While official pricing has not been confirmed by Epic Games, most collaboration skins range from 1,500 to 1,600 V-Bucks. Accordingly, you can expect a similar price for the upcoming skins.
Speaking of the release timeline, the v39.40 update is expected to be released on February 5, 2026. Once the same is out, the developers will gradually be releasing all the aforementioned content. They will most likely release the skins and collaborations across the two weeks leading up to the v39.50 patch.
