Twitch streamer Jason “Jasontheween” and singer David “D4vd” have shared a unique creative partnership over the past year, blending livestream culture with rising pop music fame. But now, their names are being mentioned under a very different spotlight after reports surfaced of a homicide investigation tied to a Tesla registered to D4vd.
How Jasontheween and D4vd became frequent collaborators in music and streams
The pair’s earliest crossover dates back to September 2024, when D4vd appeared on Jasontheween’s Twitch channel. Their chemistry clicked immediately, blending casual gaming talk with music chatter.

One of the most significant moments in their partnership came when the two worked together on Jason’s viral track dedicated to fellow streamer Sakura Shymko.
Their remix of Favorite Flower was met with massive fan attention, eventually leading to the creation of Summer Uptown.
Released in July 2025, the upbeat track gained millions of views on YouTube and featured a cameo from Sakura herself in its official video.
D4vd’s Tesla linked to homicide case raises questions amid career peak
While their projects grabbed attention for creativity, a far darker headline has now brought D4vd’s name into the spotlight.
On September 8, authorities in Los Angeles confirmed that badly decomposed remains of a woman were found inside the front trunk of a Tesla registered to the singer.
The vehicle, reportedly towed to a Hollywood impound lot, was flagged after staff noticed a strong odor.
Police sources have stated that the case is being investigated as a homicide. D4vd, who is currently on tour promoting his debut album
Wither, is said to be fully cooperating with authorities.
While no wrongdoing has been attributed to Jason, the streamer’s name is inevitably resurfacing alongside D4vd’s due to their shared projects.
