Formula E renews Taittinger partnership as official champagne of the season
Formula E has announced the extension of its partnership with the luxury champagne house Taittinger as the official champagne of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. The champagne will be the mode of celebration for race winners on Formula E podiums across the season. Not just on the winner’s rostrum, it will also be part of the exclusive Emotion Club premium hospitality at race venues for Formula E drivers and others associated with the motorsport.
Besides the Emotion Club, the champagne will also be served at all special race events throughout the 2025/26 Formula E season.
Commenting on the partnership, Formula E Chief Executive Officer Jeff Dodds said, “We are thrilled to raise a glass with Taittinger as our official champagne partner for the 2025/26 season. A racing driver celebrating on the podium with champagne is a moment synonymous with triumph, and we look forward to continuing to share these unforgettable celebrations with Formula E’s winners throughout the season.”
Taittinger President Vitalie Taittinger added, “Champagne, much like electricity, serves as a conduit for the currents of emotion, weaving together moments of shared joy and the pleasure of living. This partnership with Formula E embodies this, as well as the exhilaration of victory and the spirit of innovation that both our brands cherish.”
After the New Year break, Formula E drivers have returned to the track for the Round 2 race in Mexico. The Mexico City E-Prix began with free practice sessions at the iconic Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez on Friday, January 9, and will conclude with the final on January 10. The 2025/26 Formula E season marks a record-breaking calendar with 17 races across 11 global cities, making it the series’ biggest-ever season to date.
