Jake Dennis and fiancee Lexi Grace Boosey are set to become parents soon after announcing they are expecting their first child together. The news comes weeks after Boosey hinted that the couple are planning to get married soon. Following the Monaco E-Prix, Dennis and Boosey surprised fans on Instagram with the pregnancy announcement. Boosey shared a picture of her baby bump and revealed that she is six months pregnant.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Jake Dennis and fiancee Lexi Grace Boosey shared a joint post showing the couple holding hands beside Boosey’s baby bump. The couple captioned the post: “Mum & Dad,” along with a white heart emoji.

Sharing it on her Instagram Stories, Boosey wrote: “6 months of you.”

Dennis also reposted it on his Instagram Stories and added: “6 months of being mum and dad.”

Messages of congratulations soon followed from across the Formula E paddock. Dennis’ Andretti team-mate Felipe Drugovich reacted to the announcement, while Antonio Félix da Costa wrote: “So happy for you guys.”

Former Formula E driver Sam Bird commented: “Awesome news guys!”, while Robin Frijns added: “Congrats you two.”

The post also received several heart emojis from Andretti’s official Instagram account, while Formula E’s official page commented: “Congratulations.”

All about Jake Dennis and Lexi Grace Boosey’s multi-city life

Jake Dennis and Lexi Grace Boosey announced their engagement in December after the Andretti driver proposed soon after winning the Sao Paulo E-Prix, the opening race of the season. The couple also describe themselves as parents to their pet dog, Billy, who often accompanies them to race weekends and holidays.

The pair had earlier been working on their Marbella home in Spain, which Boosey previously hinted was Dennis’ holiday property. They have shared glimpses of the white-and-beige interiors on social media.

The couple currently live in Monaco, which Boosey recently described as their “new home” in a social media post. She also joined Dennis for the Monaco E-Prix and shared several moments from the race weekend online.

After a short break, Dennis will head to China for the Sanya double-header scheduled for June. Earlier this year, he also signed a multi-year contract extension with Andretti, continuing a partnership that has lasted since his arrival in Formula E.
