Mitch Evans all charged up for Monaco E-Prix: “It is effectively my home race, can’t wait to race around such an iconic track”
Mitch Evans is among the many Formula E drivers excited for the upcoming Monaco E-Prix. The Jaguar TCS Racing driver arrives in Monte Carlo fresh from a victory in Berlin, marking his record-extending 16th win in Formula E history. There are plenty of reasons to consider Evans a strong podium contender in Monaco, having secured four consecutive podium finishes at the Monaco E-Prix from 2021 to 2024, turning the latest one into a victory.
Following his second win of the season in Berlin, Evans now sits second in the Drivers’ World Championship standings with 98 points, just three behind championship leader Pascal Wehrlein of Porsche.

Sharing pictures from his victory celebrations at the Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit in Berlin, Evans wrote on Instagram: “One to remember. Thanks for the love, now onto Monaco.”
Speaking about the Monaco E-Prix, Evans said, “I always look forward to racing in Monaco and, off the back of our recent strong form and my win in Berlin, it is great to come into this weekend with some positive momentum. It is effectively my home race and, having won in Monaco previously and been on the podium on multiple occasions, I can’t wait to race around such an iconic track once again.”
Evans has claimed five of Jaguar’s six podium finishes in Monaco, including his memorable victory in 2024, which also marked Formula E’s first-ever team one-two finish in the Principality. Former Jaguar driver Nick Cassidy finished second and joined Evans on the podium. Cassidy has moved to Citroen Racing this season.
Evans recently announced that he will leave Jaguar at the end of the season and will no doubt be hoping to end his tenure with the team on a high.
Both races of the Monaco E-Prix, Rounds 9 and 10 of the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, will take place on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, respectively.
