Fernando Alonso is back on the F1 circuit yet again, this time with renewed hope at Aston Martin. The team had been waiting for a new lease of life under the new F1 regulations ever since Adrian Newey joined the outfit and started working on the machines. However, Aston Martin is yet to deliver what was promised, but even if it does not, it will not hurt the fortunes or the reputation of the F1 star Alonso. Talking about his net worth and wealth, it does not come as a surprise but rather as a justification of how he is the only driver to have not one but two F1 championships, as well as the World Endurance Championship to his credit, along with two wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Know all about Fernando Alonso’s 300-car museum and properties
Fernando Alonso’s laurels in F1 and other championships have earned him the Gold Medal of the Royal Order of Sports Merit and an entry into the FIA Hall of Fame as well.
According to HITC.com, Fernando Alonso’s net worth this year is estimated to be between $260-$400m. According to Forbes, he took home a salary of $26.5 million last year, which also included bonuses.
The 44-year-old is yet to bounce back to the top with Aston Martin, but he has already done enough to cement his name in F1 and build wealth that reflects the accomplishments of the Spaniard.
Alonso has multiple properties in Britain and Dubai as well, where he reportedly owns a mansion worth over $200 million.
When he is not relaxing in his luxurious abode, he is often vacationing in the snow-covered mountains. He also has properties in the Alps in Switzerland and across Europe, where he likes to spend time when he needs a break from his racing machines.
He is also the only F1 driver to have a museum of his own. He even shared a glimpse of the museum in January when a visitor posted a video from inside.
Fernando Alonso’s latest cars
But more than Fernando Alonso’s properties, it is his impressive car collection that creates the most buzz among his fans. He went on a road trip in an olive green Valiant after Christmas and then entered the New Year 2026 in a royal green Valkyrie. He owns many more cars, most of which are custom-built for the driver.
Around 300 cars from his collection are displayed at the museum. If that sounds like a lot, it is worth noting that he also owns his own karting facility capable of hosting international-level karting events. He also owns a superbike from MMR which has his biggest achievements printed on it.
Fernando Alonso is yet to score his first points this F1 season. He could not finish the race at the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday after a disappointing qualifying session. Next on the F1 calendar is the Chinese Grand Prix, scheduled from March 13-15.
