Yuki Tsunoda talks about his love and appreciation for his Red Bull family
Yuki Tsunoda made it loud and clear that his priorities lie with the Red Bull Racing giant. Recently, the young and dynamic driver opened up about his love for his team and stated that he would want to maintain his association with Red Bull Racing. He said-
“It depends upon my performance, [like] every season. Obviously, I would like to stay at the Red Bull family. If I'm at Red Bull Racing, that's amazing. If not, still I would still love to be part of this team [Racing Bulls]. I've been in this team [for] five years already. I'm probably [the] most [longest-serving] driver in this team.”While talking about his connection with the energy drink firm, Tsunodu said-
“I already feel like I'm connected to every person, which is for me very important as a driver to develop myself and focus on what I want to do.” He further explained-
“I feel a lot of support from them, which means a lot to me. Whatever happens there's going to be interesting options, but obviously my main target is to be in this team, the Red Bull family.”The CEO of the Red Bull Racing Christian Horner had spoken about Yuki Tsunoda and his tenure with the racing giant. Horner had questioned the future of the Japanese driver with the Red Bull Racing company if he could not end up securing a seat for himself.
Red Bull's tie-up with Honda is supposed to come to an end after the 2025 season. Previously, the motor giant Honda had announced its exit from the world of Formula 1, only to go back to that decision and sign a contract with the reputed competitor Aston Martin.
For Japanese star Yuki Tsunoda, this means that staying with Red Bull might even lead to the departure from the manufacturer that has supported his career from his initial days in Formula 1. However, Honda has indicated that it will continue to back him, even if he’s not driving a Honda-powered car.
