The VTuber community is facing another storm. Takahata101, a Canadian voice actor, streamer, and co-founder of TeamFourStar, has become the subject of serious allegations that have sparked heated debate across social media. What began as quiet distancing from fellow creators in early 2025 has since grown into a major controversy, leaving fans uncertain about what to believe.
How the controversy began and why other creators distanced themselves
Speculation began in May 2025, when Takahata101 admitted publicly that several creators had started to distance themselves from him.
At the time, he described the situation as being fueled by damaging gossip behind the scenes, without naming anyone directly.
This fueled questions online, but the situation remained vague until late August, when fellow VTuber Adora Bunny stated she had been shown allegations from an anonymous victim accusing Takahata of sexual assault.
She explained that this was the reason she had cut ties with him earlier in the year.
Takahata101 releases a document defending himself and his relationship with MistressDoomVT
On September 10, 2025, Takahata101 published an eight-page Google document in which he directly addressed the accusations. He revealed that they involved another VTuber, known online as MistressDoomVT (EJ).

“asked for consent for every sexual act.” He also expressed his pain at being accused, calling the past year
“one of the saddest and most difficult periods” of his life.
However, EJ had accused him of misconduct during a night when she says she was sedated for a panic attack. Her account, later shared online, claimed she could not give valid consent at the time.
MistressDoomVT responds, calls the case a police matter
Just hours after Takahata’s document was published, MistressDoomVT issued her own response through a caretaker managing her account.
In it, she emphasized that her case was already part of an active police investigation and criticized Takahata for making the matter public.
She also alleged that his decision to release their private history online broke legal boundaries and retraumatized her.
Ongoing fallout leaves VTuber community divided
As of now, neither side has released further statements beyond the September exchanges. Fans remain split, with some supporting Takahata101’s defense and others siding with EJ’s claims.
What is certain is that the situation has escalated far beyond simple community drama.
With a police investigation in motion, the VTuber world is waiting for answers that may not come from social media, but from official legal proceedings.
