In an unfortunate incident, the NASCAR driver Chase Pistone has passed away at the age of 42. The sad news was confirmed by his elder brother, Nick Pistone, in a heartfelt Facebook post. Nick shared two photos and expressed deep grief over the loss of his younger brother. The racing community was shocked to hear about Chase’s passing. He was known for competing in NASCAR’s Xfinity, Truck, and ARCA Series during his career.

Chase Pistone came from a well-known racing family. He was the grandson of NASCAR legend Tom Pistone, also known as “Tiger” Tom. Chase followed in his grandfather’s footsteps and built a career in stock car racing.

Nick Pistone is the elder brother of Chase Pistone and a respected name in the Legends racing community. He is a Legends series tire specialist and car builder. According to his LinkedIn profile, Nick owns NSANE Grip, a motorsport brand that focuses on Legend cars. The company provides parts, setups, and new builds for racers across the United States.
Pistone has more than 30 years of experience in motorsports. He specializes in helping drivers with Legend Car setups and building competitive race cars. Originally from Harrisburg, North Carolina, he is now based in Statham, Georgia. In addition to his workshop work, Nick Pistone also manages NSANE Grip’s TikTok account. The page has over 17,500 followers. It features content related to US Legend Cars, including parts and race builds. However, no new videos have been posted since August 2024.

In his emotional message on Facebook, Pistone said his younger brother and best friend was gone. He shared that he felt completely heartbroken and unsure how he would move forward. He said he already missed Chase deeply and hoped he had found peace. Nick ended his tribute by saying he loved his brother and missed him very much.

Beyond racing, Chase Pistone was also a car builder for Legends Cars and Super Late Models. He carried forward the legacy of his grandfather, Tom Pistone, who won two NASCAR Cup Series races in 1959.
