While acknowledging their strong position in the league, he indicated that the team might find it more realistic to focus on securing the Premier League title rather than chasing European glory.

He explained on his podcast that although Arsenal are still competing on multiple fronts, balancing both competitions is extremely difficult at this stage of the season. In his view, the league presents a more achievable opportunity compared to the unpredictability of knockout football. Neville also pointed out that there are stronger and more experienced teams left in the Champions League, which could prove too big a hurdle for Arsenal.

Despite Arsenal’s impressive unbeaten run of 12 matches in Europe, Neville remains unconvinced. He predicted that Atletico Madrid could edge past them in the semi-final. Interestingly, Atletico themselves are not in great form, having lost several recent matches, including a cup final defeat.

Meanwhile, Arsenal found a positive moment in their recent 1-0 win over Newcastle United. Eberechi Eze scored the winning goal, and teammate Declan Rice praised his impact. Rice highlighted Eze’s excellent shooting ability and said the midfielder is expected to play a key role in the crucial weeks ahead.
