Paris Saint-Germain youngster Zague is now facing serious trouble after a dangerous driving incident in Denmark. The 19-year-old has been sentenced to 20 days in jail and banned from driving for three years. The case has also raised concerns about his future in Europe, with authorities even warning about possible deportation.

The incident happened while he was on loan at FC Copenhagen. Reports say he was driving at 65 mph on a bridge in Copenhagen where the speed limit was just 31 mph. The situation quickly turned serious, leading to his arrest in December and now a confirmed sentence. He has accepted the punishment and did not file any appeal.

Yoram Zague’s loan spell from Paris Saint-Germain to FC Copenhagen was supposed to be a big step in his career. He joined last summer, and there was even an option for a permanent transfer. But things changed after his arrest.

According to local reports and statements shared during the Frederiksberg trial, the defender admitted his mistake. He pleaded guilty and accepted the court’s decision. Prosecutor Josefine Samuelsen told local media, “Zague’s car has not been seized, due to the ownership situation around it.”

Along with the jail term and driving ban, the court also warned that he could have been deported from Denmark. That warning alone shows how serious the situation was.

Because of this incident, his deal with FC Copenhagen was ended early. He has now moved to KAS Eupen on another loan. However, he will have to return to Denmark to serve his 20-day sentence, which adds more uncertainty to his career.

On the field, Zague had shown promise. He made nine appearances for PSG and even scored once against OGC Nice. During his time in Denmark, he scored two goals in 15 matches and was starting to build momentum.

Now, everything is unclear. His time in Belgium could depend on how the club views this situation after he completes his sentence. What looked like a rising career has suddenly taken a difficult turn.
