“No, our husbands played baseball together and we became like sisters," Janett wrote. "We went through all of our big milestones and crazy baseball life together. She’s one of my very best friends.”

When Freddie Freeman and Dan Uggla were teammates with the Atlanta Braves from 2011 to 2014, they were building their careers while adjusting to the demands of a long MLB season. Uggla, an experienced second baseman at the time, served as a mentor during Freeman’s early development in the league.
