Recently, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. signed a $500 million extension deal with the Toronto Blue Jays for 14 years. Reportedly, the $500 million deal between the Blue Jays and Guerrero Jr. does not include any deferrals. Well, with his homecoming, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has added one more feather to his cap. The $500 million extension deal went on to become the second largest in the history of MLB currently followed by the New York Mets’ $765 million deal with Juan Soto for the next 15 seasons and Los Angeles Dodgers’ $700 million deal with the two-way Japanese star Shohei Ohtani for 10 years which comprises noteworthy deferrals.
