With this, Kane became the 424th player in league history to reach the millennial mark, and the 16th player to do so this season. In addition to this, he also became the fourth player to reach 1,000 games this month, joining Minnesota Wild captain Jared Spurgeon, New York Rangers forward Mika Zibanejad, and Seattle Kraken defenseman Adam Larsson. Following his achievement, Mara Teigen shared several pictures of herself and Kane on Instagram, where she was seen enjoying the match between the Canucks and the Vegas Golden Knights. Congratulating Kane, she wrote, "1,000 NHL games for my man. We are so proud of you. You are one of one @evanderkane can you tell well I was excited."In the picture, she was seen cheering for her partner from the stands, while wearing a T-shirt featuring Kane’s image with 1,000 written on it. It is to be noted that Evander Kane and his fiancée, Mara Teigen, have been together for more than a decade. They rekindled their relationship in 2021 and got engaged in September 2024. They share three children, sons Iverson and Hendrix, and daughter Penelope, born this year. Besides, Kane also has a daughter, Kensington, from his previous marriage.Evander Kane and Mara Teigen are quite active on social media, and they frequently share pictures on social media, portraying their love and commitment to each other.Earlier, in his first 999 regular-season games in the NHL, Kane had scored 338 goals and 309 assists for 647 points, with another 55 points in 97 postseason games. Besides, Kane became the ninth player in NHL history to enter the 1,000th game. With this feat, he joins the group of NHL legends like Pit Martin, Ryan Walter, Dave Babych, Trevor Linden, Markus Naslund, Henrik and Daniel Sedin, and Tyler Myers.
