Logan Paul spills beans on why Floyd Mayweather still owes him $1.5 Million five years after their from 2021 exhibition fight

According to him, Mayweather secured the payment from an overseas company before the event was officially promoted in the United States. Paul says he was contractually entitled to 15 percent of that amount. However, he doubts he will ever receive the money due to Mayweather’s reported legal issues.

Logan Paul opened up about the dispute while speaking on the JACKKK podcast. He claimed he did not earn as much as many people believe from his exhibition against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in June 2021. Paul said Mayweather still owes him “a million and a half” and possibly more.

According to Paul, Mayweather arranged a side deal before the fight was finalized with a U.S.-based promoter. Paul alleged that Mayweather sold the fight using both of their names and likenesses to a company in Dubai or the Middle East for $10 million in cash. The bout was eventually promoted in the United States by a different company, which handled payments for the event itself.

Paul explained that under his agreement, he was entitled to 15 percent of certain earnings. That would equal $1.5 million from the alleged $10 million transaction. He admitted that Mayweather “smoked” him in negotiations, meaning he received only a small share of the overall deal.

The social media star also revealed that the company that reportedly paid Mayweather the $10 million is now suing him. Paul said he is unsure about the current status of that lawsuit. With Mayweather facing multiple legal challenges, Paul expressed doubt that he will ever recover the money he believes he is owed.

This is not the first time Paul has publicly spoken about unpaid earnings from the fight. Since 2022, he has repeatedly mentioned “missing checks” linked to the exhibition. So far, Mayweather has not publicly responded to the latest claims.
